Based in Los Angeles, California, 8 Year Entertainment, LLC is a motion picture and television entertainment company founded in 2009 for the purpose of creating the brand, television series and feature film The King of Pot.The Company was founded by a team of business and creative professionals who collectively possess more than 60 years of experience in film development, production, post-production, distribution, marketing and sales.

Bruce Perlowin just had one vision, to turn the world into a better place. He never said it had to be legal. The King of Pot tells the story of the biggest marijuana smuggler the west coast has ever seen.

The late 1960’s saw the world at a height of conflict. Believing that marijuana was the key to enlightenment, Bruce hoped that by increasing access to marijuana it would enlighten others, inevitably bringing change to the world. As his “gospel” spread — building a multi-million dollar empire in a matter of years — Bruce got lost. Can you really live amongst sin and still stay pure?
